We wanted to provide an update on the progress of our transition away from WHMCS and toward our new in-house billing and account management system.

First, we sincerely apologize for the delay. The development and testing process has taken longer than originally anticipated, but we are making steady progress and are now approximately 60% complete.

What's Working

Several major components of the new system are now fully operational:

  • Support Tickets — Our new support ticket system has been fully set up and is ready to handle customer support requests.
  • Account Security & Sign-In — Two-factor authentication (2FA) is working, along with social sign-in options such as Google and Facebook.
  • Billing — The new billing system is now operational, including the core functionality needed to manage customer billing and payments.

These are important milestones toward our goal of providing a fully integrated system for managing accounts, licenses, support, and billing in one place.

What's Next

While the majority of the core functionality is now in place, there is still additional development, testing, and deployment work to complete before we can safely begin migrating existing customers away from WHMCS.

We do not want to rush this process. Our priority is to ensure that the new system is reliable, secure, and ready before asking customers to migrate their accounts.

Once the system is fully ready and deployed on our servers, we will publish a new announcement with detailed instructions for migrating away from WHMCS. Please do not attempt to migrate your account yet. We will let you know when migration is officially available.

Again, we sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience and continued support while we complete this transition.

Looking Beyond the Migration

Once the new billing and account management platform has been fully deployed and proven in production, we also plan to make the platform available commercially.

The system was originally developed to meet our own needs at Adaclare, but we believe the platform can also be useful to other software companies that need an integrated solution for billing, customer accounts, licenses, support tickets, and related functionality.

For now, our focus remains on completing the platform, deploying it successfully, and making the transition away from WHMCS as smooth as possible for our existing customers.

Thank you for your patience and for continuing to support Adaclare, LLC.
